- Tuesday, February 21 at 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET: Using the AP Reference Sheet for AP CS Principles
In this webinar, Deepa Muralidhar hosted a panel of guests who discussed the AP CS Principles Reference Sheet, an important resource for the course. Our guests—Danny Klag from ETS, Tom Cortina from Carnegie Melon University, and Richard Kick from Newbury Park High School— discussed the contents of the Reference Sheet and its purpose in the AP CS Principles course. They also discussed strategies and ideas on how to teach the content effectively.
A key component of both ECS and AP CSP is the notion of global impact and interdisciplinary connections. In this webinar, examples of projects that build on these two components and utilize the notion of “themes” that could be used throughout the year were showcased.
